Wow. A lot has happened since my last blog post, scary big changes. I went from living with my parents to all of a sudden living in a two bedroom house with William and Alice. All in the space of a month. We’ve already been here over a month now as well!
And living on your own is something else, the independence it brings you is amazing but also I miss living at home where dinner was cooked, the washing was always done and I didn’t have to think about what to do for tea or to hoover the stairs.
Living with William has tested me to my limits. However, we have done the typical arguing of a couple who first starts living together. Will and I have never really had any time apart since we became a couple so we are use to being each others space but now it’s just us, this little family. I never realised how much I relied on my mum to help with Alice or was there to listen to my rambles on about how much my day was sucking and now I am on my own 99% of the day.
I’ve decided to try and go out with Alice every few days, meeting up with other mum friends, going to baby groups and we’ve finally signed up to flying start, which I am very excited to get involved with.
This is really only a quick update on what has been going on these past few weeks, including wedding planning and getting sorted for our first family holiday in November. I will be posting as much as I can but sadly I have a little bit of a clingy baby at the moment who only wants mum cuddles and typing with one hand just doesn’t work.
Until next time,
